Costs & budgeting
EduCanada’s page, updated 27 August 2026, reports average annual international university tuition of CAD 41,746 for undergraduate and CAD 24,028 for graduate study. These averages are not individual course quotes. It suggests budgeting at least CAD 23,000 a year for living costs; your city, housing and household can require more.
Intakes & timing
The academic calendar commonly includes September–December and January–April terms, with summer study at some institutions. A teaching term is not automatically an admissions intake: check whether your programme admits new students in that term.
Entry requirements
Each institution sets its own academic and language requirements. Check required subjects, transcripts and qualification equivalence directly. Admission and study-permit eligibility are separate checks; use official immigration guidance for your own situation.
Scholarships & funding
Search EduCanada’s scholarship directory and the institution’s international-student awards. Confirm nationality, study level, nomination rules and whether an award covers tuition, living expenses or only part of the cost.

Questions to bring to your consultation
Which courses fit my qualifications? What is the total cost? What funding is confirmed? Which documents are missing? Is the intended intake still available?
Frequently asked questions
Does meeting the published minimum guarantee admission?
No. The institution assesses the full application, programme capacity and any additional selection requirements.
Are the costs on this page a current quotation?
No. These are planning references. Check the source date, fee period and current university quotation for your course. Living costs and visa funding requirements are separate.
Can UniConnect assist with every university listed online?
We confirm the available application route for your particular shortlist before agreeing the support scope.
Should I budget for a scholarship before it is awarded?
Keep unconfirmed awards separate from committed funding. Check the award terms and remaining expenses when an offer is received.
