Costs & budgeting

As a dated example, Education in Ireland’s 2025/26 non-EU business tuition ranges are €10,300–€29,000 for undergraduate and €14,000–€40,000 for postgraduate study. Other subjects differ substantially. Use these only as historical planning references and obtain the current fee for your intake. Budget separately for accommodation, food, transport, insurance and travel; secure realistic housing estimates early.

Intakes & timing

Check the exact programme calendar. University College Cork’s taught postgraduate guidance describes registration in August/September; other start dates depend on the programme. Research courses can follow different entry schedules. Do not assume every course has January entry.

Entry requirements

Confirm academic equivalence, required subjects and accepted English-language evidence with the institution. Some courses require a relevant first degree, professional experience, portfolio or interview. Check document and application requirements before paying a deposit.

Scholarships & funding

Explore institution awards and the Government of Ireland International Education Scholarships programme. The latter targets eligible postgraduate study; consult the current HEA call for level, nationality, offer and deadline requirements.
