Costs & budgeting
British Council indicative tuition ranges: £11,400–£38,000 for international undergraduate study and £9,000–£30,000 for postgraduate study. Confirm the fee period and current course quotation. Its living-cost guide suggests £900–£1,300 a month outside London and £1,300–£1,400 in London. These are planning ranges, not a price ceiling.
Intakes & timing
September is a common start; selected courses offer January entry. For example, the University of Hertfordshire lists both. Availability and application deadlines depend on the course—check your intended start year.
Entry requirements
Check your qualification equivalence, subject prerequisites and course-specific English-language requirement. Undergraduate applications commonly use UCAS; postgraduate applications are usually made to the institution. Some courses require a portfolio, interview or relevant experience.
Scholarships & funding
Explore GREAT Scholarships and individual university awards. Eligibility, participating universities and deadlines change by cycle; an award is not guaranteed.
